Professional Development Portfolio

The portfolio is a tool that measures growth over time and demonstrates learning through a variety of artifacts, which are collected and included in the portfolio. Although there are a variety of portfolio formats, the professional growth portfolio is one that student teachers can use during their field experience, as well as in the recruitment process.
