Student Teacher’s Self-Evaluation

The importance of self-evaluation by a student teacher cannot be underestimated. Most teacher preparation programs at postsecondary institutions include among their documentation self-evaluation forms for the student teacher to complete. This reflective process is one that begins during the field experience and should continue throughout a teacher’s career.

For more information on this reflective process, see Reflection Strategies.
